New algorithm adds greater accuracy to Baton’s Projected Due Dates

December 7, 2021

Flip to our homepage, and you’ll read one of Baton’s cultural mantras, “Never stop improving your implementation process.” This is the driving force behind one of our latest product update announcements.

Recently we updated our Projected Due Date algorithm to improve how we calculate project risk levels and to make your projects’ estimated due dates more accurate than ever. Business rarely stands still, which is why we’ve harnessed over a year’s worth of Baton task and project data to build a more intelligent calculation for estimating project completion dates. And it’s not just more accurate, it’s also easier to understand.

If you’re a user of the Baton Score, you should know that this adjustment will make the Score even more potent for quantifying your implementation success. If you’re not a user of Baton Score, we suggest you check it out.

We’ve updated the Baton Knowledge Base to answer any questions you may have. Of course, if you still have questions about our improvements to our Projected Due Date, or any Baton feature, please click here to let us know how we can help.
